Welcome to Relaxed Spider
Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. Relaxed Spider on ntyinyi.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns.
The relaxed difference
Here are the details for this mode. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together.
Read the opening
A few details help explain this feature. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up.
Descending rank placement
Here are the details for this mode. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card.
Move a group
A few details help explain this feature. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together.
Keep space available
A few details help explain this feature. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds.
Stock deals are still shared
Keep these points in mind. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination.
Clear the table
Here are the details for this mode. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs.
Practice the variant
A few details help explain this feature. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt.
Resume locally
Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows.
